Monitoring the developing follicles

The injections of the follicle stimulating drug will continue for approximately seven to ten days. During this time, you will visit the doctor's office frequently so the staff can monitor your developing follicles.

Monitoring is typically done through ultrasound scans, blood hormone levels, and cervical mucus monitoring. Depending on how the follicles are developing, your drug dosage may be adjusted.
